Adventure-led personal development
We partner with schools and organisations across Leeds to deliver year-long programmes blending personal development, outdoor adventure and coaching and mentoring, to empower young people to learn crucial skills for life, discover their unique potential and feel excited about their future.
Outdoor adventure is a naturally powerful way to foster resilience, self-belief and self-awareness, and our long-term approach that accompanies this make our programmes transformative. We work with young people for an entire year so they can access sustained support and experiences, build on skills from the past and discover all they are innately capable of. Across the year, young people challenge negative assumptions of themselves, stretch perceptions of their abilities and over time, imagine new possibilities for their lives and futures.
Young people graduate from our programmes as more confident and aspirational individuals, better equipped to be the drivers of their futures and live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

We can name every child we have ever worked with, and pride ourselves on taking young people on highly individualised and tailored journeys which give them to the opportunity to transform their self-perception.
Long-term, sustained Intervention
We deliver 27 contact days across the programme meaning we get to deeply know every child and tailor our approach to meet their needs as they grow and develop.
Personalised therapeutic approach
We make sure every child feels seen, heard and valued, through group and 1-1 coaching, workshops and reflective practices. After every contact day, we share feedback on each young person with schools and partners.
Exhilarating Locations & activities
We believe we offer particularly epic adventure experiences; gorge scrambling, kayaking, cliff jumping, abseiling, and hiking some of the UK’s highest peaks.
Life - changing relationships
Our staff team comprises of highly skilled and experienced mentors and coaches, who are trained in restorative practice, trauma-informed care, coaching and view each young person with unconditional positive regard.
Huddles
Huddles are a family of ten young people led by a Basecamp Coach. They complete every adventure together for the entire year. giving everyone a sense of belonging the opportunity to build relationships with their peers.
Using Creativity & Play
Our unique curriculum utilizes engaging games, crafts and activities to make our curriculum themes relevant and easy to understand. We embed these themes through specifically tailored outdoor adventure experiences.
Using the Outcomes Shooting Star, we measure success through lasting changes in confidence, communication, contribution, relationships, learning and aspirations for the future.
